Applying *your code as a crime scene*

There’s more to software systems than the current snapshot of the code tells you. Each change we make to our software leaves a trace. Each trace is a clue to understanding the system we’re building. We can mine this valuable information by using our version control system.

This talk is based on the brilliant book ‘your code as a crime scene’ by Adam Tornhill. You will leave the talk with a good understanding of its main concepts and will be able to find and visualize hotspots, technical debt, surprising change patterns and more in your own projects.

The talk is meant to be interesting for developers, architects and testers from all levels.
